Marc Brynczka, Colleen Carlson and Julie Johnson of Jake’s Help From Heaven were present at the delivery of a gait trainer for 2 year old Keira in Watervliet, NY.
The family applied to Jake’s Help From Heaven and the Board approved this purchase at their October 2011 Board Meeting. This piece of equipment will help Keira, who suffers from Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood – a very rare disorder with no known cause or cure. The gait trainer will help her be mobile, begin learning to walk and gain some independence. This item was denied by her insurance company.
